FIRST DAY
GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER
🌅 Morning Sessions Overview:
1️⃣ Ice-breaking & Name-Game Activities
During the morning sessions, we kicked things off with a series of fun ice-breakers and name-game activities.
🎯 Session 1 Highlights:
Name & Movement Game
Participants took turns saying their name and making a movement. The next person had to repeat all previous names and movements, creating a fun memory challenge! 🕺👋Personal Envelope Activity
- Everyone received a sheet with their name and a face outline.
- 🖍️ When the trainer said "stop," participants would draw a facial feature (e.g., eyes 👀, lips 👄) on someone else's sheet.
- This continued until a full face was drawn for each participant.
- 🎨 The results were collaborative portraits, displayed on the wall, with an envelope beneath each for positive notes or "gifts" from others. 💌✨
🎁 Secret Friend Game
Throughout the week, each participant had a "secret friend" who left them small gifts or encouraging notes. A lovely way to bond and surprise each other! 😊💌🎉
🗣️ Session 2 Highlights:
Setting Group Rules
We began by discussing some ground rules. Everyone signed them to ensure smooth cooperation throughout the project. 📝🤝Two Truths & One Lie
Participants wrote down two truths and one lie about themselves on a piece of paper. The aim? Others had to guess the lie! 🤔📝Circle Game
- Everyone formed a circle. One person would step inside and share a personal fact, like "I have two siblings" 👨👩👧.
- Participants with similar experiences would also step inside, visually showing the group's diversity! 🌍🌟
🤝 Group Debate Stations:
- We split into 7 groups, each visiting 7 stations with a debate prompt (e.g., "Mountain 🏔️ vs. Sea 🌊," "Winter ❄️ vs. Summer ☀️").
- Every 3 minutes, groups moved to the next station, discussing their preferences at each stop. ⏳💬
These activities helped foster team spirit, create connections, and highlight our diverse backgrounds and preferences! ✨
🎓 Session 3 Overview:
1️⃣ Discussion on Non-Formal Education
We kicked off the third session with a small discussion on non-formal education, focusing on its methodologies and the importance of developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes. 💡🗣️
2️⃣ Erasmus Plus Competence Stations Activity:
Group Division & Setup
Participants were divided into 8 teams, and the room was set up with 8 stations. Each station focused on one of the Erasmus Plus Competences, such as:- 📚 Literacy
- 🗣️ Multilingual
- 🔢 Mathematical
- 💻 Digital
- 🤔 Personal & Learning to Learn
- 🏛️ Citizenship
- 💼 Entrepreneurship
- 🎨 Cultural Awareness & Expression
Youth Pass Portfolio
Each team received their Youth Pass portfolio. The activity aimed to show that the Youth Pass is not just a certificate 🏆, but a tool to reflect on their personal development throughout the project.
3️⃣ Tasks at Each Station
- Each station contained an envelope with 3 tasks ✉️. Teams had to complete these tasks, using practical learning, collaboration, and fun to explore each competence.
- This activity allowed participants to actively reflect on how they were developing skills in these areas, making the process interactive and meaningful. 🤝💡🎉
The session emphasized the importance of self-reflection and understanding the development of competences through practical experience!
🧑🏫 Session 4 Overview:
1️⃣ Introduction to the Training
The session began with an introduction to the training program, focusing on the six rules of improvisation 🎭. These rules were discussed in relation to entrepreneurship, highlighting the connections between creativity, adaptability, and business skills. 💡💼
2️⃣ Entrepreneurship Discussion
Next, we engaged in a discussion on entrepreneurship to understand participants' experiences and expectations for the upcoming PDA (Professional Development Activity). Participants shared their thoughts using Mentimeter 📊, making the discussion interactive and insightful. 🤔🗣️
The session encouraged participants to explore the parallels between improvisation and entrepreneurship while reflecting on their entrepreneurial journeys! 🚀

SECOND DAY
IMPROV
👥 Session 1 Overview: Blind-Folded Walk-in Pairs
1️⃣ Pairing
Participants were paired up 🌍. One participant was blindfolded, while the other acted as the guide, and they were instructed to set a 15-minute timer ⏳. The pair walked around the accommodation, both inside and outside, while engaging in meaningful conversation. 👫
2️⃣ Conversation Prompts
The guide led the discussion, asking deep, reflective questions, such as:
- ❓ What is something you did that you regret?
- 📚 What was the biggest lesson you've learned?
- 💔 What was your biggest failure?
- 👤 Who is your favourite human being?
- 🌱 What do you consider one of your most important life experiences?
- 🤔 What is one thing you wish more people understood about you?
- ⚖️ What was the most difficult decision you've ever had to make?
- 🌈 What is a dream you had to let go of, and how did it affect you?
3️⃣ Role Reversal
After 15 minutes, the roles were reversed so that both participants experienced leading and being guided. 🔄
4️⃣ Connection to Improvisation
This activity helped illustrate the importance of trust in both improvisation and collaboration. In theatre and improvisation, trust between team members is essential for success 🎭. Similarly, to work effectively together, participants learned that trust is key—both in themselves and in others.
This exercise highlighted the connection between self-confidence, trust, and collaboration, vital both in improvisation and in real-life teamwork. 💪🤝
👂 Session 2 Overview: Active Listening
1️⃣ Activity Setup:
- Participants were divided into pairs and sat in two lines of chairs facing each other, resembling a speed dating setup. 💺💺
- Half the participants were instructed to share something important about their lives, while the other half secretly received instructions from the trainer to gradually stop actively listening. 🗣️👥
2️⃣ Trainer's Signals: The trainer gave three subtle signals behind the participants to prompt the listener to gradually disengage from the conversation:
- Signal 1: Stop asking follow-up questions, just say "okay" and give minimal responses. 🤷♂️
- Signal 2: Start avoiding eye contact and looking away while still saying "okay." 🙄
- Signal 3: Completely ignore the speaker, maybe even pull out your phone and check social media (e.g., Instagram). 📱
3️⃣ Objective of the Activity: This exercise demonstrated the importance of body language, eye contact, and genuine engagement when listening to others. The goal was for participants to understand how disheartening and frustrating it feels when someone is not truly listening, and how trust and respect are built through active listening and openness. 👁️🧠🤝
4️⃣ Group Reflection:
- After the activity, participants discussed their experiences. Those who were speaking shared how it felt to be gradually ignored, while those who disengaged reflected on the process of deliberately withdrawing their attention.
- The discussion emphasized the value of active listening, using both verbal and non-verbal cues to foster trust and meaningful communication. 💬💭
This activity highlighted the power of listening with intention and the role of non-verbal communication in making others feel heard and respected. 🔑👂
🎨 Second Activity: Active Listening through Drawing
1️⃣ Activity Setup:
- Participants were again paired up, but this time, their chairs were positioned back-to-back to prevent visual cues. 🪑🪑
- Each participant received two abstract drawings 🎨, with the drawings being slightly complicated to ensure they couldn't be easily guessed and required clear instructions.
2️⃣ Task Instructions:
- Person A had to describe the drawing to Person B, guiding them on how to recreate it using only verbal instructions. 🗣️✏️
- The emphasis was on explaining the size and placement of the items in the drawing, rather than focusing on the colours. This tested participants' ability to communicate clearly and listen actively.
3️⃣ Goal of the Activity:
- This exercise helped participants improve their communication and listening skills by requiring precise descriptions and careful attention to detail.
- Person B had to rely solely on Person A's instructions to recreate the drawing accurately, which emphasized the importance of clarity and patience in communication. 🧠👂
This activity further enhanced participants' understanding of active listening and effective communication, reinforcing the need to be clear, attentive, and patient when working together. 🤝🎯
🎭 Session 3 Overview: Image Theatre
1️⃣ Group Formation & Concept Design:
Participants were divided into groups, with each group assigned a specific concept. They were given 10 minutes to brainstorm and create a frozen image (tableau) that visually represents the concept. This encouraged quick thinking and collaboration. 🤝🧠
2️⃣ Creating Theatrical Images:
- Once the brainstorming was complete, each group formed a still image to represent their concept. The frozen image could include:
- Body postures 🧍
- Facial expressions 😯
- Spatial relationships between group members to convey the idea visually.
3️⃣ Audience Guessing:
- After presenting their frozen image, the audience was tasked with guessing the concept. Each audience member suggested a single word 🗣️, and using Mentimeter's Word Cloud, the group selected a final word that encapsulated the essence of the image. 💬☁️
4️⃣ Roleplaying Scenario:
- Once the concept was guessed, the group "awakened" or animated their frozen image into a short roleplaying scene based on the guessed word. For example, if the audience guessed "murder," the group would perform a brief murder scenario using body language and actions. 🎬🔪
5️⃣ Improvised Scenario:
- In the second part of the activity, groups had more freedom to create their own scenario. They had to improve upon the initial concept, refining their frozen image and developing an animated roleplaying scene. 🎭🔄
🎨 Key Takeaways:
This activity emphasized:
- Creativity 🎨
- Teamwork 🤝
- Quick Thinking ⏳
Participants needed to communicate ideas using body language alone, and the improvisation element challenged them to adapt based on the audience's interpretation. This exercise helped foster adaptability and collaborative problem-solving. 💡👏
🎭 Session 4 Overview: Yes But...
🎯 Goal Achievement Story Game
1️⃣ Setup:
- Players sit in a semi-circle, with one person (the main player) choosing a goal they want to achieve in one year. 🪑🪑🪑
2️⃣ Storytelling:
- The game is set as if it is exactly one year in the future. The main player begins by telling the story of how they set the goal a year ago and everything that has happened since then. They start with:
- "A year ago today, I decided to [state their goal]." 📅🏆
3️⃣ Interventions:
- Each person in the circle takes turns introducing an "UNFORTUNATELY" that disrupts the story or presents a challenge. 🌧️😔
- The main player responds with a "YES!... and" approach, finding a positive or creative way to move forward in the story despite the challenge. 🎉🚀
4️⃣ Continuing the Story:
- The main player goes around the circle, addressing every "UNFORTUNATELY" with a "YES!... and" response. The spirit of the responses should be enthusiastic and joyful, as if they are excitedly recounting how each challenge was turned into an opportunity. 😃✨
5️⃣ Objective:
- The game encourages positive thinking and resilience. It helps participants practice handling setbacks with a constructive attitude and find solutions to obstacles in a collaborative and supportive environment. 🌟🤝

THIRD DAY
IMPROV
✈️ Paper Plane Challenge
1️⃣ Group Division:
- Participants were divided into groups 🤝 and given the task to construct as many paper planes as possible. Each group was encouraged to use their creativity and imagination in designing their planes.
2️⃣ Instructions & Goal:
- The objective was simple: create planes that could fly the farthest distance 🌬️.
- Participants were free to use any type of paper and employ any design they could think of, pushing them to be inventive and think beyond traditional paper plane designs. 📄✈️
3️⃣ Purpose of the Activity:
- The activity aimed to inspire imagination and creative problem-solving, allowing participants to experiment and innovate. The ultimate goal was not just about making planes, but about exploring possibilities and thinking outside the box. 🎨💡
This activity emphasized creativity and fun, encouraging participants to test their limits and discover new ways to approach a simple task. 🚀
🔵 Circle Challenge – The Elements of the Innovation Game
1️⃣ Overview:
The task is simple: participants must turn as many circles as possible into recognizable objects within just 10 minutes. ⏳✏️
Key Focus: Emphasize that the goal is not artistic skill, but rather to generate as many ideas as possible. The objective is quantity over precision. 🔄💡2️⃣ Goals:
- Creativity: Encourage participants to think outside the box and break free from conventional ideas. 🧠✨
- Fluency & Flexibility:
- Fluency: Focus on the speed and quantity of ideas. How many concepts can they come up with? 🚀💡
- Flexibility: Ensure that ideas are distinct from one another, not just small variations of the same concept. 🌀🔄
3️⃣ Conclusion:
- The 12 Circles Challenge provides a quick yet powerful lesson on ideation and the balance between fluency and flexibility.
- The activity shows that generating many ideas can lead to one great idea, but if the ideas are too similar, they may just be variations of a single concept.
- Combining both fluency and flexibility allows participants to create a diverse array of concepts, making it easier to find unique and valuable ideas. 🎨💡
- Ultimately, this activity helps participants become more open-minded and creative thinkers, broadening their perspective for future challenges. 🌟🔓
🔄 Second Session: Flip-Flop Activity | Adapt or Die Marketplace
1️⃣ Activity Overview:
- Participants engaged in the Flip-Flop Activity, where they reflected on past mistakes and the lessons learned from them. 📝💭
- Each participant was given a sheet of paper with a "Flip Flop":
- "Flip" Side: Write down a mistake they made in their lives. ❌✍️
- "Flop" Side: On the reverse, write what they learned from that mistake or how they grew from the experience. 🌱💡
2️⃣ Objective of the Activity:
- The purpose of this activity was to encourage self-reflection and promote a growth mindset by recognizing that mistakes are an essential part of learning and personal development. 💪
🔄 Adapt or Die Marketplace Challenge
💼 Step 1: Business Idea Challenge
1️⃣ Group Division & Initial Task:
- Participants were divided into 8 groups 🤝, and each group was given a business idea to develop using Simon Sinek's "Why, How, and What" framework.
- Why: The purpose or mission of the business 🌍
- How: The process or methods used to achieve it 🛠️
- What: The product or service offered 📦
- They were given 10 minutes to brainstorm and outline their business concept on an A4 paper. 📝🧠
2️⃣ Market Adaptation Challenge:
- Once each group finalized their concept, a new market condition was introduced to shake things up! 🌪️
- Each group had 5 minutes to quickly adapt their business idea to the changing conditions, using improvisation to refine their strategies and stay competitive. 🚀⚙️
3️⃣ Objective:
- The primary goal was to simulate the pressures of a dynamic marketplace, encouraging participants to make spontaneous decisions and quick adaptations in response to external challenges. ⏳💡
- This exercise fostered creative problem-solving and the ability to thrive in uncertainty and change. 🌟🔄
🎭3rd Session Overview: Psychodrama | Rewriting the Fear Narrative
1️⃣ Step 1: Identifying Fears
Participants pair up 🤝 and use the "Why" Methodology to help each other identify their deepest fears. Each participant writes down their solid fears on paper. ✍️😨
2️⃣ Step 2: Group Division
- Participants are then divided into 5 groups. Each group will later work on dramatizing the fears of individuals within the group. 🧑🤝🧑🔄
3️⃣ Step 3: Fear Enactment Preparation
- Each group has 10 minutes to review the fears and come up with a quick concept to enact each participant's fear. The goal is to portray the fear in a way that is both meaningful and vivid for the individual. ⏳🎬
4️⃣ Step 4: Facing the Fear
- Group 1 begins the process:
- The first participant (number 1) shares their fear with the group. 🔊💬
- The group then enacts a scene representing this fear, and the participant (protagonist) must confront their fear by changing the narrative of the situation. 🎭🔄
🎯 Objective:
- The goal is to help participants reframe their fears by seeing themselves as capable of overcoming those fears. The process of acting out and rewriting the fear allows them to explore alternative outcomes and empower themselves. 🌟💪
🪑 Powerful Chair Activity
1️⃣ Group Division & Task:
Participants were divided into 3 groups 🤝, and each group was given the task of transforming a simple chair into a powerful chair. The challenge was not just about physical transformation, but also about conveying the feeling of power and uniqueness through the chair.
2️⃣ Creative Process:
- Each group worked on making their chair beautiful and symbolic, incorporating different elements such as colours, textures, and sounds to enhance the experience. 🖌️🎶🎥
- The goal was for participants to use their creativity to elevate the chair, making it not just a physical object but an embodiment of power and confidence. 🌟🪑
3️⃣ Meaning of the Activity:
- This exercise was a metaphor for self-empowerment. Just like the chair, we are all the same at our core, but it's on us to make ourselves feel powerful and different. 🌱💪
- The transformation of the chair represented how we can choose to see ourselves as capable and unique, reminding participants that confidence comes from within. 🧠✨
